I have gone thrue the entire thread for the very first time since it was started many years ago. I think the thread starter(Ralphie) did the best he could but I remember reading the OP and thinking it might not work due to the lack of proper feed restrictions.
Nope,it worked fine. The Problem for me was not enough individuals to start with my breeding group was too narrow or small causing too much in Breeding.
 
I^ve been meaning to start a similar project but I wanted to start with the best possible rooster on feed restricted CX(Cobb 500) hens. To me the best rooster it's a slow growth breed with wide meaty breast, The Dark Cornish fits the Bill, but have not been able to get my hands on any so I Will be using a Thick line of Asil, which are called Rajah Murgh, Broad Breasted, Thick Bones, Pea Comb, they look like Cornish but Athletic
