Star nods as she slows completely into a walk "Yeah let's stop the running but I'm pretty sure they'll catch up with us so let's not wait around for those slow pokes" she says with a playful laugh as she turned her head to see how far back Hazelpaw and Crowpaw actually were.

(The best part is these clan cats are just letting this tiny tribe cat lead them because she's the only one who acts actually confident of where the heck they're actually going XD)

Palepaw laughed. "Sounds good to me" he mewed.
(IKR :lau :lau Mom tells me similar stories of when she was in the marines. She'd have to boss a bunch of guys around cuz they were too macho to ask someone "were the heck is baggage claim" :lau :lau :lau :lau)

Star looked up ahead at the looming mountain "Okay confession time, here's what I got (I'm sorry I'm trash, I had to make her say that XD) I actually have no clue where we are going but wait before you go off on me, I do know that something is pulling me in this direction so maybe we might actually find what we're looking for on or past that mountain" she stated truthfully but she was worried about what Palepaw would say to her and nervous that maybe this whole time she's been taking them no where.

(XD That's awesome! It's like basically "We have no idea where we are going...let's just dump everything on this tiny female who's just like pls no eat meh ;-; " )

Palepaw studdied the ground as he walked, listening calmly. "Well it isnt like any of us knew were to go either" he chuckled. "I hope its that mountain. Cuz my feet hurt. Alot" he meowed.

(Yep, it's just been Heathers and Hamilton all week :plbb and if you understand that then you get a star...wait not my cat oh nooooo XD ...I may need some help. Alsoooo lucky for our traveling cats that mountain is indeed where they need to be!)

Star let out a same breath of relief and she smiled as she replied "I think we all hope that's where we need to be because I don't think we could walk anymore after that mountain anyways"

"I wouldn't blame you if you did, it's been what, three moons now? That's a long time to be journeying and I am really starting to miss the Tribe" Star says as she kept her gaze fixed on the mountain up ahead, she hoped with every part of her being that this is where they'll get what they need

"Uh huh" Palepaw agreed, suprised at how much the thought of Star going back to the Tribe hurt him. The two walked in silence for severral heartbeats before Palepaw blurted outb "i almost wish this would never end. I mean, always going somewhere, just us four together..."

Star kept walking through the awkward silence, she pelt felt a bit itchy from nervousness and she almost jumped when Palepaw talked again "I agree, I really will miss you silly clan cats and if we do actually find a new place for the Tribe then I'll be so far from everyone" she tried to make it sound cheery but as she thought about the end of the journey, when ever that may be, she felt an almost crashing sadness

Palepaw nodded sadly. "Or..." he began, hesitating with nervousness, "you could come join Pineclan" he mewed quietly, terrified that she would get mad at him.
