So I was looking through Craigslist and I saw this dog and first off, I feel very bad for him and I hope he finds a home.
But second, I was kind of curious BYC's opinion.
Do you think it's just bad genetics (cause who knows where he came from and he doesn't really look Lab to me or not much) or is it failed training (cause September would put him around 8 weeks old)? Or is it both? Or neither? Cause I know sometimes even the most socialized well trained dogs can go bonkers or have a neurological disorder and it's no one's fault. But this seems different?
I also find it a little bit weird they are basically selling this potentially highly aggressive dog... I can understand wanting to get your money back but not on a dog like that. If it were me I would just care he goes to a good home who can rehab him. But maybe I am wrong there?
Also I feel like not neutered and 7 months old could be part of the problem, right? Just coming into his prime, testosterone & dog adolescence, etc. Probably just needs time, a neuter, and training and he could be great? Or is he a lost cause?
This is the dog

Also I realized I may have answered my own question.. but additional opinions would be great.
And this poor guy, spoiled rotten and now can't handle not being the center of attention. This is why dogs should be treated like dogs not babies. Now they got a real baby and have to get rid of him
(read both ads because it's the same dog but written different and slightly different info)
