3. Third choice, which is what I actually had in mind when I started college, would be veterinarian. But between organic chemistry and the tuition debt to income ratio it didn't make sense at my age after I got out of the military. Had I gone through with it I would have liked to be a livestock and horse vet. Yes, I regret it, but at the same time I'm glad to not being paying off school debt until I'm 90 instead of being able to retire.

Sounds like a plan! "after I got out of the military" ... Does this mean your were in the service, or want to be?
 
I'd love to be a veterinarian, but seeing as how vet school is SO hard to get into, I'm trying to get into vet tech school here in Illinois. I was in the military and I did medical with that and thought that I wanted to be a Nurse Practitioner but I decided that I like animals MUCH more.
