Wow, this is crazy. I have 8 bcm eggs on lockdown and 16- 4 day old chicks under a heat lamp. My power just went out, Luckily I was awake and on byc. I woke my wife up and we put on rain gear. We headed out to the garage to get a extension cord. So that we could hook up the incubator to my power converter. All this took about 5 minutes . My incubator got down to 92 .Do you think the eggs will still hatch?

I'd think that you have a pretty good chance of some success. At that stage, the embryos should be less susceptible to temperature fluctuation than those just set.

I sure hope so. This is day 20 and all the eggs were looking perfect.
Thanks for the fast response CTKen

The eggs should be affected very little if at all. Once when I was away, a broody hen was off of her nest and my husband collected the eggs that were due in a couple days and put them in the refrigerator! They were probably in there for about two hours. I got them back under the hen, and they all hatched and on time.
