Thread for my new ducklings

What about 2 for each drake. I had 3 drakes once and one had 3 females the other 2 drakes just had 2 and it worked. Of course the females would slip around on their drake and the drakes would slip around on their females. Silly things.

Yeah, Would 3 boys to 6 girls work then? I can try to get rid of 2 boys, if not I will have to get 2-3 more girls and have 4 boys to 8-9 girls. I'm leaning towards 3 to 6 because after raising 10 babies this year I'm pretty wore out

All I can say is try it. Only problem i had with my set up was the drakes they couldn't be in the same area with each other Fighting was not pleasant. The girls never fared badly with that ratio but not all drakes are that way. Some are notorious for singling out just a few females and tearing them up. So if you do decided to try and it doesn't work then make your decision on re homing.

Okay, thank you very much for your help. Sorry if I've been a pain with asking all those questions, lol

Not at all, you know we can share our experiences of what has worked for us or hasn't, but it's your experience that will tell the tale in the end. I hope it works out. Please share it all too.
