ANCHORING A COVERED RUN

I want to attach a 4.5 ft by 16 ft. covered run to my coop. The walls will be 5 ft. high. My concern is keeping it from being blown away during a wind storm. I've thought about anchoring it with 1/2 inch rebar driven through the bottom plate about 2 feet deep but not sure if that will be enough. How do you guys anchor your runs to the ground....or do you? Have you had any issues. You can see the opening on the side for the run.

I think a few 2 foot rebar anchors would hold down your run. Keep in mind that a run is made of fencing that lets wind blow thru easier than a sold wall. If your run is anchored and still shifts during a wind storm....... add more anchors.

Solid metal roof on the run?
Attached to coop by the pop door there on the left side..is that coop roof edge 5' high??
How do you plan on framing the run?
Why not sink a couple posts, like on your coop, at the end of run farthest from coop?

The door isn't 5ft so I will have to angle up to get 5ft. Framing will be 2x4 treated with metal roof.

Its windy where I live but the coops too big to blow away. but if I was concerned about it. Id get some big screw in the ground dog stakes the have like a handle to screw them in. Then you can take galvanized strap, run it threw the dog stake then up to coop side and screw it in a couple places. These but in around the coop will hold it down. I'm thinking that is something like trailers use too to strap it to the ground.
