After receiving mostly infertile eggs (16/24), got 6 lovely chicks hatching and only one that needed assisting! For some reason the last one didn't absorb the blood from the veins and was too weak to kick its way out. Ended up peeling it out 24h after external pip. Seems to be doing well. Leaving all of them in the incubator until tomorrow morning (36h after first one hatched and 16h after last one). Usually take them out early, but it's been very cold today and wouldn't want one to get lost in the night and chill. Also last one is still sleeping it off a bit.
Glad I had a second thermometer in the incubator, the built in one seems to be getting out of sync so need to set heater to 37.7°C for egg surface to be 37.5°C. Humidity still matches at least. Will post photos of chicks from blue eggs later as they're mystery ones! Would be cool if someone could help ID.
