I like Jersey Giants.. And seramas! My JG is super sweet and if you cross a JG hen with a white silky rooster you get pure awesomeness. Imagine a JG rooster but with a crest, extra toe, and black comb and wattles. Also mine's hackle feathers are tipped with a super shiny copper color. And seramas are just plain tiny and adorable.

I have a few... The Barred Rock, Easter Egger's, and Buff Orpington's.

Why I like BR's
I absolutely love Barred Rocks, they are great layers, have a great personality, and their patterns are cool too.


Why I like EE's
They are very cute and cuddly; and have beautiful eggs. They colors are super pretty, I've never gotten two EE's that looked the same!

Why I love BO's
They are great starter breeds, and good layers! They also hold a great personality. Mine always come running to me when I let them out.

Why I like RIRs
I once had a RIR named Red, Unfortanalty she was killed by a dog at hardly a half a year.She was so sweet and pretty, and hardy.People say these birds are bully's, not true at all.

Why I like EEs
They are beautiful, Soft, friendly, cuddyly, and they lay pretty eggs.I have four, and they are hardly alike!There names are Cinder, Indigo, Acorn and Brownie.I had two before aswell, one taken by a fox, Sunshine and the other a dog or fisher Rain.

Why I like BRs
May I quickly burst out, BRS ARE THE BEST.Ive had four with all my years of raising chickens, two are currently alive.I have two deceased, Rock and Olivia(Livi)And the two alive are Bea and Granite.They are hardy, pretty, lay huge brown eggs, friendly, cuddly and my 8 Yro, is the top girl!

Why I like BOs
I myself have never had BOs, but I would like some.

And I have SOOOOO many more that I don't want to list!
 
I haven't had many chicky babies... Im a newbie (June 16). We have 6 RIR hens and 6 Cinnamon queens. I've had Bantam roosters and a BR rooster.

Why I like RIR. They lay beautiful big Brown eggs. I named them all since they were my first. They come when you call them.

Why I like Cinnamon Queens. They are much sweeter than my RIR. I won't name any more chicky babies... too hard... but I love that they let you pick them up and pet them.

Why I loved my Bantam roos... they protected my girls. And they were sweet and beautiful.

I haven't had my BR roo long, but he seems to be protective of the girls. And he is big. No worries he won't protect them.
