I am still learning how to navigate this site and I am so pleased that I happened to stumble upon this thread! I would also like to modify the Garden coop -room enough for 6-8 hens - exterior access to nesting boxes with a safe access door that won't pinch (drop down on) kiddos fingers, pop door on the side in to the run, gutter emptying into rain barrel, also i live in MN and don't plan to heat the coop in the winter, so I need to make sure it is insulated enough with enough air flow to keep the hens warm in the winter. Thanks for all the ideas! I look forward to hearing how things turn out!
