URGENT!! Bugs on my hen! How do I get rid of them?

Try sitting on the ground with some treats in your hands, held close to your lap. Eventually they'll warm up to you. Then you can start getting them used to you moving, like you can move your empty hand around a little while they eat out of the other hand, etc. Then you can have them sit on your lap and eveything! Getting them used to you is very relaxing and lots of fun, if you're patient!

Here's some of my girls snuggling as chicks- I can't believe this was only a year ago! It does help if you start holding them as chicks, but it's not impossible to get them to realize that you are just as snuggly as adults. :)

Love love love! I will spend some time doing that! They are very motivated for treats and I am the only one who feeds them. The Buff Orpingtons seems more hesitant to get close to me but let me catch them and then my Australorp will follow me around the yard but loses it when I approach her. My new chicks come Friday so I will get a fresh start with them!
