Is this baby lavender?

This is one of the beautiful little EE bantams I got this morning from Cackle Hatchery. I'm brand new to chickens as of one week ago. I'm wondering, is this little one going to be lavender? Her beak is almost a mauve/pink. Maybe it's too early to tell what the final coloration will be, but I was pretty excited to receive such nice colored birds

I'm pretty new to chickens but I did get a lavender orpington in November as well as what ended up being a blue (splash) Ameraucana. Unfortunately, the Ameraucana died but this is a picture of them as day old chicks. The lavender orpington is the grey one and the splash blue is the yellow one. The other two are EE and SLW for reference.

So basically I have no idea but here are some reference pictures. To me, your baby looks more like my blue/splash Ameraucana. I think she will be pretty!

 
I'm going to have to get a pic in better lighting, but you may be right. I'll have to compare her color to one of my splash silkies. Regardless, I think she'll be pretty too

I received a good variety with my EE's- one white, two mostly white with black/dark brown, one blue, one black, and this one.
 
It's so hard to say with EE. I only have 1 and she looks nothing like she did as a chick at all. She's one of the dark chipmunk colored ones above and now she has a completely white head and neck fading into a mixed brown/black body with white interspersed. She is my first mixed breed and I was shocked at how different she looks than any other EE that I've seen. My inexperienced eye thinks that you'll have a more grayish EE than the normal red/black EE hens that you always see but you could be fooled like I was. I still think she will be bluish/grey. Just my amateur opinion :)

Genetically, I"m thinking not.

Knowing the recessive nature of lavender, and that most hatcheries don't have lavender stock, it's so highly unlikely to get a lavender chick from them, the odds would be incredibly small.

Some form of blue is quite possible, though, as we've been seeing a lot of blue in hatchery EE for the last few years.
 
I honestly know nothing about the genetics behind lavender, just that its not common. I assumed it was a dilute like blue? I will be thrilled if she turns out blue too. It'll be interesting to watch the progression as she grows.
