Just joined the group and wanted to show off our new Chicken Train we built yesterday. We are just getting back into the chicken business after being out of it for 5yrs or so. 1st time dealing with meat chickens and read that their diet pattern needs to be different then the layers, so we built this train for them to stay in. We watched several videos online on different ideas and such and went with this one. 2x6 frame and 3/4" PVC for the hoops. Not to shabby for a Sunday afternoon build and it houses our kids just fine. LOL!!! We put our chicks in it to see how they did and they seemed to like it just fine. Will become their full time home once it gets alittle bit warmer for them. Enjoy!
