I have buff orpington over rhode island red mixes , also barred rocks , buff orpington , they are due to hatch Tomarrow which ones will be best layer and are they all friendly also what ones would you breed together? Thanks to all who diside to help
 
If you want to breed them you should breed only pure breeds, that way you can sell them easier. The RIR Xs may lay very well so will the Plymouths and the orpingtons they're all very good layers. To answer your question about friendliness as long as you spend a lot of time with them and give them loads of love they'll be very friendly and the Orpingtons will go broody a lot.

I personally think that barnyard mixes are just as good as pure bred chickens. I like the characters you get from them I currently have cochin eggs in the incubator which are going to be all sorts of color opportunities. all of your should be good layers as previously stated and if you spend time with them they will be big fluffy butted puppy dogs lol
