My buff orpington rooster has an infection and I need help. He has a black and white blotch on his comb. I need help now because i want to put him in a fair which is in 5 months.

OK While we're waiting on photos, here's some reading on Fowl Pox for youhe hasn't been pecked so it is probably fowl pox.
Agreed.Where do you live? Is it wintertime and cold, or is it warm there? It looks like pecking from other chickens, and there even might be a little frostbite on the tips of the comb, but also could be pecking? The while near the dark marks is probably just healing taking place where there were peck wounds. I would either leave it alone to heal on it's own, or apply some coconut oil to help moisturize the dry skin. This does not really look like favus or a fungal infection to me, but others may hav other opinions.
Hey, that's great! It's spring right now here in NC tooRight now it is spring in Utah, but he's had this for a little while. I have kept him alone but it was a week ago when I did.
