Is my silkie broody? She has been pulling out a a few of her feathers and putting them in the nesting box for the past couple days. Today she has started going in the nesting box and no coming out. If I try to pet her for to long she tries to peck me. I gave her a store bought egg to see what she would do, within 10 minutes the egg was up under her. Is she broody?
