Any way to sex 3 week old chicks?

I probably already know the answer, lol. And I was going to google but I thought I would ask all of you experts first. We're picking up some 3 week old Wyandottes this weekend, and just wondered if there was any way at that age to tell the sex.. Thanks!

The hatcheries make a stab at guessing the sex so technically there should be a way to at least narrow it down, but I personally have no clue how.

Hatchery vent sexing day olds is about 90% accurate. At three weeks old, it's not really possible to visually sex chicks, unless a cockerel is very early to develop.

Likely not, unless the breeder has included 'feather sexing' in their genetics. Otherwise, it's a waiting game. Sometimes, cockerels will have slightly thicker legs, but not always. Mary
