I am getting a lot of eggs with hairline cracks in them.what do i do?they are being fed Dumor starter/grower that is a 20%protein.with free choice oyster shell.

How old are the layers? Young pullets may occasionally have "flukes" in their reproductive tracts that cause weak-shelled/malformed eggs. Older hens can also have problems.

Also, are the eggs being laid in nest boxes? If so, what bedding material do you have in the nest boxes? Since hens often lay eggs partially standing up, shells can be slightly fractured if they drop onto a hard surface. I usually use shavings in my nest boxes, but hay, straw, special nest box liners, and other materials will also work to cushion laid eggs.
