Hello All. I recently purchased 25 eggs (she gave me 7 extra) from a local breeder. I have bought from her before a couple years ago and need some advice. Once I brought them home I candled them before putting them in the incubator and noticed 6 were porous and 5 were odd shaped. I candled them today (day 7) and only 6 are developing. I cracked a few open and they don’t look fertile. My question is whether or not I should let the breeder know and tell her I’m a little disappointed. I did buy them for $60, which I feel is not cheap, and I’m a little disappointed with the quality. Am I wrong for saying something or is it ok? Also I’m using a Brinsea Octagon for the incubator and I have had very good hatches with it. Any Advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
