Hello, BYC community! Our flock consists of 4 chicks: Marilyn the Buff Orpington, Mayhem the Red Sex Link, Stormy the random bantam, & Teeny the random Bantam. We also have 7 more girls coming in April which we are excited about. An Egyptian Fayoumi, Speckled Sussex, Sicilain Buttercup, Delware, Australorp, Barred Rock, & a Lavender Orpington. I'm new to BYC & have already looked to it for loads of brilliants ideas from all these awesome members! Thanks & have a nice day!

Thanks! The chicken bug re-bit hahaha! We had three chickens before we moved & were unable to take them with us. So we gave them to a neighbor who also had an egg layer flock. Now a year later we are finally able to have some again. Our excitement got the better of us and now we have a 11 potential chickens lol. Quite a step-up from a flock of 3!

Thanks! I'll have to check out those links for sure!

Welcome!

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out
