Hi
I bought 9 chicks from tractor supply laat week on tuesday...all seemed healthy one or two sneezed very infrequently when digging around... Now today i come home all seem healthy ,eatting, drinking and running around but a lot of sneezing going on??? Did i make a mistake i really do not want to get my older birds sick in a few weeks if these little ones have anything... What would cause this :/

They have a cold . take this over to the illness and cures thread they can help you there with medicine to make them well.
Best,
Karen

One of two things going on. They are sneezing b/c of all the dust in their dander and in their bedding, or you have a contagious illness. First... not an issue, but of course, you know that the second does not bode well for the chicks or your existing flock.

Mine were all fine when I went to check this morning. I picked each up and petted and held them and the two Easter Eggers have been shaking their heads ever since. It looks a bit like a sneeze, but they are also biting at their new wing feathers so I wonder if it just isn't being very uncomfortable from rapid growth.
