How to salvage/renovate this old coop/shelter?

Stripped it down to the frame and shoveled out the stink! Will replace or reinforce a few 2x4s and 2x2s and then start building on...

PS 4 chicks became 5 and they're home now. The time clock is now ticking for coop completion!

Can't wait to see more, it is looking good! Reuse what you can but I bet you will not spend a lot going forward...

hardware cloth vertically under the two angled vertical sides of the coop, below the roof line...sides where the roof angles making a long isoceles triangle will save you some time and cutting, leaving squares or rectangles for siding that goes to the ground.... Hope that makes sense. Then you will have great ventilation, so important. Also, while you are at it, maybe a hardware cloth apron all around to prevent predators?

If you use new siding, some T111 might look great painted or stained!
