Help identifying sickness

My Tom has been problem free for about 3 years until the last few days. His left foot seems infected and he has black scab-like stuff on his wattle/caruncles/snood. Any advice? Are these related?

For the head it could be black head but I don't think so.

It's most lickely fowl pox which has know real cure but can be treated. Tetracycline antibiotics can be added to the water to prevent secondary infection(Also could supply a mineral supplment in the water). Treat the scabs with a diluted iodine solution such as http://amzn.to/1LMZn55

You can also use 2 tablespoons of sulfur powder with 1/2 a cup of Vaseline to soften the scabs(apply solution daily).

And now for the foot to me it looks like bumble foot, which is a staff infection under the skin. Try to get him in a confined container and fix him a bath of warm water and epson salts. You can also get an oral anti-bacterial, like tylan50 from tractor suplly(2cc everyday for a week). Or you could probably use the same diluted iodine solution plus the baths. A clean very dry bedding is essential for healing to occur.
 
Thanks. Fowl pox is something I haven't dealt with so it's interesting to read about. That's gotta be what this is. It's strang how this stuff comes about.

I thought maybe the foot problem was bumblefoot. That's a bummer. Confining my Tom is a bit challenging. I need a turkey nursery quick.

We cleared up fowl pox in our chickens with a little bleach in their water, not sure if that works for turkeys, but it's worth looking into.
