Help. Chicks dying half out of shell...

Oh! Good luck! Are you using local eggs laid at the altitude you're hatching at?

No...after reading the article I WISH I was!!! The are from down the mountain. I am driving down to pick them up tomorrow

They are bantam cochin eggs..I LOVE the breed!!!! I didn't realize last year when I began my hatch that altitude would effect my hatch and my air cells grew WAY to fast. Unfortunately I wasn't able to correct it in time, so my hatch was very low

Hey so i candled them again, and i did see the embryo moving in all three, i lowered the humidity last night, and there is some progress so do you think there still alive?

If there's movement and temps have been good, then yeah. Humidity doesn't usually compromise them until hatch time. If the proper amount of moisture isn't loss at hatch time or high humidity during incubation have caused large "mushy" chicks is where you see the problems.
