Bantam duck breeders?

thanks for the pics.... I'm still deciding on a breed, but it's pretty much between aussies and appleyards... i heard you can sex appleyards by their beak colors at a young age, are there any early indicators for aussies?
 
Not that I am aware of, but I'm no expert on them. The boys start getting the ring around their necks, but that's not super duper early. It is before their tails curl, though.
 
Just ordered mallard calls from a nearby farm for our first ducks. I was going to order welsh harlequins from a catalog, but decided this was better than spending a ton on shipping. Maybe you'll find a local farm.
