Hello everybody,
I had a question about having chickens at a school. My school is interested in having a small flock (probably around 9-15) and they were worried about laws that might prevent them from creating one. They have plenty of space so that would not be an issue. I believe most of the schools land is registered as farmland so are there be any regulations I should be aware of? The school is in Basking Ridge New Jersey.
Thank you so much

Did you ever get a response to your question? You have to go to the Town zoning board and they will tell you what and where, etc. Great idea, good luck! I am going through a variance application in Princeton, nj

Hi I'm new just moved to wall nj and I'm very interested in becoming self sufficient. But have no idea what the laws are for chickens. And if not allowed I'd like to find others who either secretly have them or are trying to fight the laws as I'd like to get involved. Thankyou

Hi, did you ever find out anything with regard to Wall Township? I know if you have enough money, you can get variances for pretty much anything since the zoning board members are corrupt.
