What do I do with my hen rooster

My rooster is still attacking my hen. The hen has spent most of her time the last couple days on a table outside because she's scared of the rooster. I want to wait till this Friday to see if I should get rid of the rooster or keep him. But if I do get rid of him, will my hen be sad. If I put the rooster in a separate coop in the yard, the hen isn't scared much because he's in the coop and she gets off the table and goes over to the coop and lays next to him. But the second I let him out she runs and gets back on the table. It's like she wants to be with him but doesent want to get hurt. Which we all understand. But I want to know if theirs anything to stop my rooster from attacking her. And if not I want to know if I get rid of the rooster will the hen get sad or will she just be fine.

From your other posts I can tell you only have one hen and one rooster. That's your problem. The best ratio possible is to have ten hens for each rooster. Otherwise hens will become overmated, I suspect that's what's happening here. Your rooster is constantly trying to mate with her and it's stressing her out, causing her to run, he's probably being very rough when he does catch her because she doesn't want to submit.

If you can't get more hens, you need to rehome the rooster and get another hen instead.

So if I bought one of two more hens about the same age Would the rooster be mean to them.

That's still not enough hens. He's not being mean to them, he's doing what comes naturally, which is trying to mate with them. He just doesn't have enough hens to spread that out over. I really wouldn't keep him unless you can provide him with at least five or more hens. More is preferable.

My backyard is not big enough for six or seven chickens. Since he's not being mean he just wants to mate I should give him to someone else. I don't think anyone wants a rooster I think I would have to kill him
