My 8 week olds are terrified of me!

UPDATE: Turned out we had four roos! We rehomed them, and now my 5 girls left are very close to me. They are now 14 weeks old and get so excited when I come to the coop! They squawk and run to me when they see me! They still run if I come towards them too fast or try to pick them up!
 
Bring them treats every time you come out is a very good way to get them to like you. Mine hear my voice and they are flying all over trying to get to me the fastest. I have one hen that will come and sit on my lap, and gets mad when i take her off. It is harder keeping her off, than it is getting her on. Even with my scared hens, i just crouch down and ignore them and they walk right up and let me pet them.

I have been doing that!
 
i just got some young chicks at 8 weeks....they were really skiddisk when we got them
now at 5 mos old there getting better . 1 is starting to let me pet her and pick her up .....the others not so much......progression.
