I'm building my coop now. I read s'where (forget where, so I can't refer to it! Lol), about having an organic floor and run.
Basically build up organic matter, on a dirt floor, from my compost piles, about 6" deep.
The chicks should scratch away and I just keep adding litter as needed.
Has anyone else done this?
