How to change a user name

I just joined, and realized I want to tweak my user name please. I want it to be ChickenGuardianUSA. How do I change this in my profile settings? Doesn't seem to be that option, only Avatar pic changes.
 
Only the site moderators can change it. When attempting to change it, I got this message:

Invalid username: ChickenGuardianUSA -- Usernames must be 4-15 characters and should contain only alphanumeric characters and single spaces between words
