Mites stop hen from laying?

Hi,

so my chickens had mites, so I sprayed them with a mixture of water and garlic juice. Now they only have a few mites and I'm pretty sure that the mites will be gone soon. One of the chickens had a really bad mite infestation to the point where she stopped laying eggs. We sprayed down the coop with a different spray and sprayed the chickens with the garlic. We gave the one that had the most mites more spray than the others. I've read that mites can cause stress that can cause the chicken to stop laying. It's been two weeks and there is still now sign of an egg from her. What should I do? Does she hurt or is she fine?

thanks

I think she's fine. She should start laying again soon if the mite infestation is gone.

Spray the chickens and the coop with permethrin. Mites can kill birds.

No with the recipes off this site the one that I used on the chickens worked GREAT spiffy (the one who had the really bad case) went from a really bad case to only about 3 mites per a few feathers in a few days so I thought the coop spray would be trustable too, I am new to chickens so I might be wrong.
