Hi all,

my 3 eggs are one day over, with no obvious pipping. As a first timer, i am obviously excited but had some questions (i am in lockdown with H75% and constant temp of 37.6C - all has been automatic and reliable)
1. one of the eggs has a brown 'ring' around the area where the air sac is - normal?

2. another egg looks slightly discoloured - the person i bought the eggs off told me to check the floatation - which i did - it sank and so as directed, i chipped a tiny bit off. The baby is still breathing! What do i do now????

3. third egg looks like a lump of stone - nothing happening that is obvious.

Thank you :)

I can see a tiny tip (not sure if this is foot in the air sac, or beak) it's slowly moving in and out - I am now worried about whether to q tip a tiny amount of vaseline on th winner membrane that i can see to stop it shrink wrapping (humidity at 77%) or to leave it?

Thank you - i have applied a tiny tiny bit. I can still see some veins, so have been super careful. it isn't moving apart from breathing. I feel terrible and really worried. crikey, i didn't realise i would feel this anxious before they even hatched! Thank you - do you think i need to sit with it through the night to make sure it doesn't shrink wrap while i'm asleep? How long does that take?

Now that it has piped it could still be hours..:(..;)......I peep and tap the top of the incubator to the egg every half hour or so between rests..:)...They get pretty lazy..:(.......75% Seams a bit high to me...?....I go with 60 to 65%......I'm no expert but WV taught me lots..I have hatched with great success..:)

Did you take away so of the air cell from the pip hole?....Hours yet....:(......Let it rest and then peep and quack..Rap the incubator to wake it up.....:)
