Quail pup upside down help

Thread Starter
Hi not sure how but one of my quail eggs has piped upside down! They're obviously on lockdown so I'm not keen on opening the incubator; will he be ok or what should I do? Argh why did that have to happen? Thought I'd been so careful!

Apparently your chick didn't get the message it was wrong way round.  They have been known to be able to get out on their own, I would give it 12 hrs, if no progress, it's up to you if you want to assist a bit.  That is a tough call, especially if the rest are trying to hatch.  I always struggle with what to do, open the lid and possibly shrink wrap the rest or help.  :barnie
