I finally got my 3 polish last week. Every thing has been fine, until this morning. One of the chicks was not able to poop well, and after dinner I checked on them and the same chick was all sleepy and hard to wake up. Then a few minutes ago I checked on them again and the chick was awake, but with her neck all stretched out. She wouldn't move until I had my dog smell her. ( my dog is in love with the chicks) what's wrong?
 
She might be plugged up. Chickens have that happen sometimes when they don't have enough water in there system. Try rubbing your fingers on her stomach and see if it is full first.
 
No, she's not plugged...well I don't think so anyway. But she has a lot of trouble pooping still. Other than that she is fine...could she be stressed? Also when she tries to go poo she makes odd noises. I would love any help.
 
Yeah, for right now, just keep it warm, comfortable and inside. Have you been giving them medicated water? You could try putting a little bit of cod liver oil or some other kind in its water, maybe that will help
