Hello, I am kind of new to using this but I just rescued to kitten and I need to know how old they are when they start to poop, he only drinks milk his very young but his eyes are open and his not to small.

um kittens poop starting at birth but usually takes a day or so... the mother cat usually helps them go to the bathroom by stimulating their behinds with there tongue.... you can do this with a wet (with warm water not hot) paper towel to stimulate them and clean that area

Well he does not seem uncomfortable and I did try that and I read somewhere that the cats do not poop till a couple of weeks because the food goes inside them to make them grow but he is only drinking milk.

I used to raise dogs and they started with momma's milk and had to poo from the start . If I was tube feeding, I would wipe them with a damp cotton ball until they pooped. They would generally pee at the same time. Then I would dry them with Kleenex. If a mother was reluctant to handle their bathroom needs I would put a little olive oil there - mamas seemed to love olive oil. The pups got very thorough cleaning.

Kittens are the same. They need to go from the start.

Have you checked to see that it has a proper anal opening. Sometimes the opening doesn't form and a vet may be able to help. Is it at least peeing?
