I'm totally new at this- what is a brooder "guard"? I've got everything I need, but I don't know what that means!
 
I read it in a couple brochures...I think maybe it's something that you put around the brooder so the chicks can't jump out when they get too tall! That's just a guess..
 
Could be. I googled it and looks like there's a name brand corrugated cardboard "wall" called a brooder guard, so maybe that's what they meant. It's not necessary to have, though.
