Thick runny yellow poo on her back side, yellow liquid dripping from her beak, Anyone have any ideas, I really don't want to cut her open to see what it is. She was fine yesterday, today she was laying in the coop. I put her in a create gave her food and water. and she just past.

Hi there,
I'm sorry about your loss. I have a question. What breed is she? She looks like a red sex link to me. the reason i ask is that hybrids like the rsl's are prone to health issues because they lay so well. Their life span is incredibly short.
By looking at your pictures i first saw that there was a lot of internal laying, and or egg yolk perotinitis, But, those are only symptoms of something else going on. Then the liver caught my eye. her liver is BLACK, and it should be the same color of her muscles, or have a yellow tinge to them. So i googled what can cause chicken livers to turn black, and came up with this. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackhead_disease
so please research this as i only researched it briefly.
As far as no one getting in touch with you over this, i am sorry for the frustration, but i have been there before too. There are so many people needing expertise help, that any one particular post can get lost in the line up really fast. The true experts can literally spend all day on here helping people like you and i out. Other people who are like you and i, are still learning. So they do not want to offer help on something they know nothing about. Anyway, i don't mean to offend with my explanation, i just didn't want you to feel like you were being ignored.
I hope my info has helped. Based on my minimal reading of blackhead, it doesn't sound like it was preventable.

Yes she is a RSL and this is her first year of laying. She wasn't even a year old yet. I seen all that fat and thought maybe I am over feeding them. Fatty liver decease? I lost one of my old layers earlier this spring. I am so hoping it isn't anything that will spread. Thanks for your reply.

the yellow that you see is actually egg yolk. So she was internal laying or has egg yolk peritonitis. LIke i said, those are symptoms. what concerned me is the black organ, which is the liver. research it further to see if it is the black head or not. two main symptoms of that are the liver, and yellow diarrhea. I hope you find out what it is.
