I don't have that bread of chicken... I'm getting some light Sussex though... so we could discuss the two breeds and learn a bit :)
 
Don't have a red one yet ... BUT ... This is Josephine by black star / black sex link!

She is the tiniest of my brood, but oh so cute. An expert forager. She was the first to start scratching around. I just caught her bathing in the grit container like a lunatic. Tolerates me pretty well when I've had to grab and hold her. I *love* her!

No, I think they get some or a lot of gold as they age!
