So I have 3 hens that I have had since last year, they each lay an egg a day more or less. Few days ago I purchased two more (6 week old ones) and introduced them to the cage. Since day one there has been fighting. Today I found one of the new ones with all of its feathers missing from its head and a blood all over the back. I know which hen is doing this.
Do I get rid of her? give her a chance? separate her from the others? Keep the bloody one apart for a while.
Or simply dispose of her? the old one I mean.

New birds need to be caged next to your birds where they can see each other but can't fight for at least a week. Your old girl will be defending her territory against these new comers, so she's not doing anything wrong.

You will have to keep the injured girl separated until she is healed. Blood of any kind will be picked at by any of the others. Once she is healed she will have to be integrated properly by caging her separately where the others can see her. Changing the old cage around when you do let them out together can help as it won't feel like the same territory for your older girls.

Keep an eye on them and separate any that is being a major bully before any bad behaviour escalates to bloodshed. Integrating groups of quail can be tricky and occasionally you get one that will be picked on, especially if it's a different colour than what the other birds are used to. I had some that would not accept a Tibetan coloured girl so I ended up with two groups!
