My silver laced Wyandotte literally just layed this egg. It's just a membrane and yolk no shell. What causes this? Should I be concerned?

If it's a one time thing I wouldn't worry, especially if the bird hasn't been laying for too long. From what I've gathered they just kind of "mess up" sometimes. My Cochin did it once not too long after she'd started laying. Hasn't happened since and she's been perfectly fine.

This happened to me yesterday, it was the 3rd egg my polished laid. SHe took the day off today, I'm nervously waiting to see what the next egg looks like
