I'm glad to hear your chick is doing so well..
I wonder if this is similar to the problem a chick I had once had, however much more mild..
When I was a kid, one of my classes hatched out chicks and of course being the animal lover I wanted to take some home, especially one called "Lucky." She was born with one of her legs sticking out to the side; at the same joint where the chick here has a problem, her leg just stuck out to the side at a right angle to the top part of the leg. Of course, none of the third grade teachers had any idea how to fix it, and I -being a kid at the time- also didn't, so her leg was just left like that. I ended up taking her and a few others home, and she behaved and grew like any other chicken. She was a bit slower, but otherwise didn't seem bothered at all. I've yet to see any other chicks with this problem, so it'd be interesting if this was in fact the same or a similar problem and was fixed so relatively easily
