Hello all-
Yes, I know I should be probably able to answer this myself, but I inconveniently do not have time to page through my copious chicken health books. :he
My friend has a hen who is defecating bloodied droppings. Unfortunately, I am not in fast and reliable contact with her, so I do not know the rest of the hen's symptoms. I will be editing this thread as soon as I hear.
Thanks guys!
~Sarah

If it is a little bit of blood, then that's normal. If it's a lot, then I'm sorry! I don't know the answer!

Is it cocci?

That was my first immediate thought. :/
My friend still hasn't written back to me with her hen's other symptoms, so it's kind of helpless without more info.... :barnie

Update: It's almost undoubtedly cocci. She's treating her with Corid 9.6% and has completely isolated her from the flock.
Any more suggestions you veterans have? ;)

I'm glad she at least knows what it is now. I hope her baby gets better (I know she us a full grown hen ;))
