I went to a local coop tour. They had beautiful coops. However regarding design and function and decor. ... I had already learned it all from this group. Though it was fun to see the other coops to make sure i understood correctly what I learned from this site. Goes to show the level of competence of the members of this group. AND I THANK YOU ALL
 
There are a lot of ways to do things and one size doesn't fit all. Everyone's situation is different. Different climates require a different approach. We have a large local chicken meetup group and occasionally have coop tours. They're fun and interesting to see what approach others have done.
Regarding coop tours, be careful about biosecurity. We require disposable booties or boot wash basins for tours.
