Hey you lot!

I've got 6 guinea eggs in the bator atm (brindsea octagon 20) with the attached humidifier, and an autoturner. Everything was going smoothly, left the eggs for 36 hours to rest, but the first problem was that I was away at my girlfriend's place the day they arrived, and they were being delivered to my dad's work, so he put them in the fridge for about 5 hours. He's usually really good with the birds, it was just a mistake, but do you think that should affect anything?

Anyway the main point is that I'm on day 8, which too early really to see many signs because the b*ggers have really thick, speckled shells. One has a much lighter shell with little pigmentation. And it certainly has veins, but idk about the others. However, what they do have are massive saddle shaped air cells. I've never hatched shipped eggs before, but google images yielded some pictures very similar to my eggs.

What do you think is the best way to handle them, at day 8? I've read that some people put them in cartons with the egg spaces cut out to provide stability, but that's at lockdown right? Humidity is 47 and temps are 99.9f.

Cheers for any help you can give, and happy hatching to anyone else with chick fever lol.
