First, watching a runner duck run is awesome. They can find their own food. They aren't like pekins in water. Mine haven't started laying but I heard their decent.

Its not as fat and slow as a pekin, but its not frail either. I want a mallard but I don't want a flying bird. The rouen is great for that.

They are my calmest birds and are easiest to catch. They eat less than Pekins. I heard they also lay well, but mine are younger.

I don't have anything right now, but might this spring. I'm located just east of Columbus.

Mom to 20 assorted chickens, 2 guinea fowl, 6 call ducks, 2 rouen ducks, 2 sebastopol geese, 6 angora goats, 27 jersey wooly rabbits, 4 cats, 2 dogs and 3 teenagers.

I don't have anything to trade right now (our little city backyard coop is empty right now...I miss my chickens sad ) but I would love to find a couple young laying bantam hens if anyone has any I can trade you cash for chickens. wink big_smile

I have button quail and jumbo coturnix quail chicks that are not quite a week old (or eggs if you prefer) to trade. I am looking for goat's milk.

I don't have anything to trade - I only have my 5 chickens. But I am looking to get some more this spring (maybe from Meyer Hatchery). If anyone near Lake County would like to go in on an order, let me know! I only want 6-7 chicks!
