When do you collect your eggs?

What do you do after collecting eggs? This is our frist time with ducks & chickens, just got our first egg yesterday from our 17 week old Isa Brown. It wasn't dirty so I wasn't sure if I was supposed to wash it or not. If I am supposed to wash them what do I use? Hand soap, dish soap? Thanks :)
