I know this is an old post but Richard isn't doing birds anymore is he? I got mine from him (blues and blacks) several years ago. Still have two original female blacks and an original male blue. I did extremely well with them and hatched a whole bunch of chicks out this summer. I'm excited to see how they turn out. Unfortunately I did have to fuse a little bit of a different strain in them so they'll be about 60-80% richard's genes.

I thought the same but i did in fact contact him and am waiting for winter to see if i can aquire some good breeders from him! Although i may have to make a LONG road trip to get them! But it is worth the 20+hr drive!
