Rainbow Pullet Surprise from Cackle Hatchery

We're kind of in the same boat. He made me promise I wouldn't get anymore of those "little ones that lay those scrawny eggs" again. I love my scrawny egglayers!!! So I didn't, just got the big girls.
 
I tried to order from Cackle last year; gave up; and ordered from Meyer. I got their Rainbow Pullet pack. Ended up with one Turken, 2 silver-laced/2 gold-laced Wyandottes, 2 red cochins, 2 hamburgs, 3 Australorps, 3 Andalusians, a BUNCH of Polish, 2 Dominiques, and a phoenix. It was so fun to watch them grow & try to figure out who was what.

Just a heads up..I have only ordered from Ideal but then I am only about 4 hours away from them here in Tx. even so with the ship out day of Wed. I have never gotten either of my orders before Friday, Prolly cuz they go by truck here they will prolly fly yours to you so it wouldn't surprise me if they would arrive Thurs but it is still feasible for them to truck them to you on an overnight freight situation so don't get toooo frantic if you don't get a call on Thurs.! They'll be there early Friday morning and a happy to be home bunch they will be. Out of the two orders I have only had one shipping loss all the others were happy and healthy and the ones I have left are still doing great! I think you'll be pleased with your chickies!

I ordered this special, but it was through Meyer Hatchery. I ordered 25 pullets and got a pretty even mixture of White Rocks, Barred Rocks, Silver Laced Wyandottes, and Golden Coments. I raised them just to sell them to local folks who just wanted some good layers.
