Trend Micro Pc-cillin Internet and BYC , what is going on?

As Nifty said it's most likely the ads that BYC is displaying, not BYC itself.

Try opening BYC when you are not looged in and then again when you
are logged in and see what happens.

I used TrendMicro for years. It was superior to Norton and Mcafee. Then
I switched to AVG and found AVG to be even better.

I like Avast best because you can do a boot time scan, so those little virus's never have time to load and hide!

Though now that I am running Ubuntu I no longer have a need for all of those programs.

Yup, I was sucked to the other side a couple of years ago, I dual booted for a while, then one day my Windows partition needed ANOTHER reload AGAIN. I realized I had been running the same install of linux for over a year with no trouble. So I just dumped Windows all together, except at work where I have to both use and support it... figures...

As a web developer and runner of this site I'm pretty much compelled to use what the majority of my visitors use. This helps me see problems in real time if / when they come up for the majority of my users.

Not saying that people can't design / troubleshoot cross browser, but I've dealt with designers way too often that don't use what the majority use and then I'm stuck with finding and fixing all the little things they missed that aren't cross browser / system friendly.
