Twelve eggs! Woohoo! And 4 were pullet eggs. Two were very pretty blue eggs, so they were from my Prairie Bluebell Eggers. Two were very small, odd-shaped brown eggs, from Sapphire Gems. We're on our way! My OGs (Old Gals, lol), are not laying so well.
The girls all decided to lay early today. There were 7 eggs waiting for me from my seven girls at 8:30 this morning. They are all large to extra-large in size, 62 to 73 grams each.
Considering only my feed cost, they're setting me back about 15 cents each. The cheapest eggs at the local Walmart are running around 25 cents each now.
